Postgraduate Positions
POSTDOCTORAL STUDIES IN THE KNOWLEDGE ECONOMY2007
The Victoria University Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Scheme is a new initiative to build its research and to support outstanding early career researchers seeking to commence an academic/research career. The Scheme provides appointments of 3 years duration at Academic Levels A and B.
The scheme focuses on outstanding early career researchers who would normally be within 5 years of completing their Doctoral qualification.
Prior to applying, it is imperative that a prospective applicant contacts the Head/Director of the appropriate School, Centre or Institute to obtain more details of their research interests, and to ascertain whether the School/Centre/Institute is prepared to support the candidate’s application. If the Head/Director (or delegate) indicates that the candidate will receive support, the prescribed application forms should then be completed.
Potential candidates with research interest in the following areas of research:
- pharmaceutical and health economics
- energy use and climate change
- converging technologies
- governance and regional issues
should contact the Centre's Director, Professor Peter Sheehan at peter.sheehan@vu.edu.au
