The Faculty of Business and Law offers a range of support services. From course and enrolment advice, to practical help with health, finance and emotional issues, we provide the back-up you need, when and where you need it.
BIZHELPBizHelp is the Faculty’s student support and referral service committed to assisting you make a smooth transition into life at university, as well as offering a point of contact in seeking advice throughout your course. BizHelp services include:
BizHelp will be visiting each campus on a regular basis during semester one. Make an appointment or drop in to the BizHelp Office at a time that suits you, or contact BizHelp via email to discuss putting your plans for 2010 into action! FOOTSCRAY PARK CITY FLINDERS WERRIBEE NB: Queen St Students: utilize City Flinders or Footscray Park dates, or contact BizHelp for an appointment at a time & location that suits you. If demand increases, Queen St dates will be added in the future. Dates and times may be updated during the semester so be sure to check the Faculty web site and our Facebook page regularly for news and updates.

Information for new VU studentsThe transition to uni isn’t always easy. BizHelp will be able to ensure that new students to the Faculty feel as comfortable as possible when starting their course. If you have questions regarding course changes, leave of absence, managing your workload. Consult the following PDF or contact Bizhelp for further details.
Support for research studentsThe Faculty recognises that there are times when research degree students have a grievance that they may wish to air. If you are a research student with a grievance, you are encouraged to speak to your supervisor/s, your postgraduate research coordinator in your school/centre or the head of your school/centre in the first instance. If none of these options are appropriate, you should contact the Associate Dean (Research & Research Training), Associate Professor Santina Bertone on santina.bertone@vu.edu.au or on 9919 1547.
