International PartnershipsStudents reap the benefits of the Faculty's international partnerships with educational institutions, industry groups and companies around the world. These partnerships keep the Faculty abreast of international trends in technology and industry practice, deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses offshore in six Asian countries, and offer student exchanges to 20 universities in 15 countries. Typical industry partnerships include the close relationship between the School of Information Systems and SAP, the leading German company developing and producing software for multi-faceted management systems. This relationship enables the School to offer a course in enterprise resource planning systems, which large companies are increasingly adopting. The Faculty of Business and Law, in conjunction with the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology, is also entering into a partnership with the University of Twente in the Netherlands. This partnership will promote staff and student exchanges, and joint research projects. It will give information systems students access to one of the very few universities in the world that combines computer science and IT. International Partners
