
Victoria University's School of Law provides a vibrant education in all
aspects of the law, from a local perspective to the global picture.
Law School Welcome Message 2008
We have strong links with overseas institutions such as the UCLA Law School, the Chinese
University of Political Science and Law, and the International Islamic University of
Malaysia. Exchange programs allow students to take some subjects overseas.

Our comprehensive postgraduate program, run by the Sir Zelman Cowen
Centre, includes
research and coursework degrees. The Centre also offers continuing education for members
of the judiciary and legal profession, and has responsibility for
VU's Australian Immigration Law courses.
These are aimed at people wanting to become registered migration agents, or migration
agents who want to develop their skills further.
The School has specialist research skills in areas including corporate governance,
communications law and environmental law. The School also boasts two research units:
